UK Beverage Services were commissioned by Remedy Kombucha  - the leading kombucha brand in Australia, to help with finding co -pack partners to support the launch of its brand in UK & Europe

This was a challenging project to find suitable partners for the supply of glass bottles as well as long term partners for for  bottling and canning of an impressive growing brand. The project was completed on time with credible partners for a category that is in its early days within the UK market

July 2018 UK Beverage Services were pleased to be involved in the development and launch of STRYYK  a new range of “zero-proof” distilled spirits has launched into the UK on-trade in a bid to offer consumers a modern alternative to alcohol.

Created by drinks industry entrepreneur and founder of Funkin Cocktails Alex Carlton, Stryyk recognises the growing demand from Generation X’rs and is predominantly targeted at 18-35 year olds.

The brand has been introduced for those who choose not to drink alcohol, are having a night off or “mixing up their night”, but still want to be part of the party.

Distilled and bottled in the UK, the Stryyk portfolio features one clear spirit, Stryyk Not Gin, and one dark spirit, Stryyk Not Rum

UK Beverage Services were proud to be associated with Boost Drinks in technically & operationally supporting the launch. We helped research the co-packing services, supplier selection, product development and factory launch support in addition to providing label food labelling advice.

January 2017 saw the national rollout of Protein Boost, signifying the champion of the independent brand's diversification into an exciting new category that is growing at 26% year on year*. The initiative comes in response to increasing consumer demand for health and wellbeing products and provides the independent convenience channel with a protein drink brand focused on them.

"Innovation has always been a priority for us and now seems exactly the right time for us to diversify, build on the brand equity that has exists in the Boost name and further demonstrate our commitment to the independent channel."

FUNKIN LAUNCHES ‘COCKTAIL-READY’ MIXERS

UK Beverage Services were involved in the Funkin Project team to support the Technical & Due Diligence Aspects of this Exciting Project

Packaged in silver cocktail shakers, the trio includes Skinny Mojito, Passion Fruit Martini and Strawberry Daiquiri. The skinny version of the Mojito contains less than 100 calories per cocktail, inclusive of the spirit.

According to Funkin, the cocktail shakers allow consumers to make perfectly balanced, chilled cocktails at home, with each shaker making four cocktails. Shoppers simply need to add spirit and ice, shake and serve. The three-piece shaker has a measuring cap and measure line to allow for the precise amount of spirit and a strainer to filter the cocktail from the ice.

Funkin managing director, Andrew King, said: “Funkin is once again leading the way in cocktail innovation. With our new shaker range designed specifically for the off-trade we are making it easy for consumers to prepare bar-quality cocktails at home, eliminating the guesswork.
